The full name of 3C certification is \"compulsory product certification system\". As of April 15, 2019, electric bicycle products that have not obtained CCC certification must not be manufactured, sold, imported, or used in other business activities.
With the increasing attention to compulsory 3C certification, many companies will also declare their products to \"pass 3C certification\" in order to guide dealers and consumers to purchase their electric vehicles. But only if \"the whole vehicle + the components involved in driving safety\" have all passed the 3C certification, it can really be regarded as a 3C certification.
However, electric vehicle batteries are not covered by the 3C certification.
After the implementation of the new national standard, in accordance with the battery requirements in the new national standard, electric bicycle batteries only need to meet the following six conditions:
① The maximum output voltage of the battery of the electric bicycle should be less than or equal to 48V;
② It is clearly required that the maximum mass of the electric vehicle shall not exceed 55kg (including battery);
③ The battery is fixed in the battery pack box, the battery and the battery pack box are reasonably matched, and the installation position of the battery pack and the battery pack box is reasonably matched to prevent changing the battery capacity or voltage;
④ The maximum gap between the battery and the side wall of the battery pack box is less than or equal to 30mm, and does not shake;
⑤ Electric bicycles should not reserve the interface for expanding on-board battery;
⑥ Electric bicycles should not have external battery holders.
